Justin the Ginger Lifeguard
This was a project commissioned by Adult Swim to promote the work of individual artists working on Adult Swim programs, called the Stoopid Buddy Shorts program. Originally I pitched this idea as a stop-motion short, but changed it to 2D when the tight schedule was revealed. I did everything you see and hear in this project. The animation was created in Photoshop and the coloring and textures were done in After Effects. This was one of my first attempts at sound mixing so I apologize for the poor quality.

Being a ginger myself, I haven't visited many beaches. I had to take a small field trip to the beach in Malibu for reference images and videos.
Using my reference images, I started to develop color schemes and textures.
This was my initial title design that I used on various documents throughout the production.
