I was lead animator on this stop-motion SpongeBob SquarePants episode and got to work with unique puppets with all sorts of replacement parts developed by Screen Novelties. It was a fun challenge to study an established 2D character like SpongeBob and translate him to stop-motion without losing the simplicity of the 2D style.
