Magical Cat: Episode 7 (Holiday Special)

This is the seventh episode of the Magical Cat series, a little claymation show created by my wife and I, aka Threadwood LLC. We create these episodes to keep ourselves busy and viewers entertained while quarantined. We write, build, animate, and edit each episode in about a week using leftover materials from our previous projects.
This episode had some new lighting/effects challenges. We had to learn to wire and program tiny lights for the fire lighting. We also had to do some exploration to find materials that would look like fire once lit.

The fire was a cycle of 6 frames. The flames were made from hot glue on plastic shapes.

My wife made some small wood pieces so that it was easy for me to swap the shapes in place.
